Registration with FETAC - this briefing is for organisations that wish
to become a registered FETAC Provider, through
the provider quality assurance agreement process. It is aimed
at providers who are not familiar with FETAC and have begun
to develop their quality assurance application.
Please
be advised that spaces at these briefings are limited to three
per centre and there is a fee of €100 per person

Briefings for External Authenticators on
FETAC Panel
A number of briefings are being conducted
for new External Authenticators appointed to the FETAC
panel. These briefings are for newly appointed External
Authenticators ONLY.
Attendance at a briefing day is a
mandatory requirement for inclusion on the External
Authenticator panel and prior to undertaking any
authentication assignment.
The briefing aims to equip you for your
role as an external authenticator by giving you an
understanding of;

Please book one place on the
briefing day at a venue and date that best suits you.
The day is scheduled from 10.30 till 16.00. Numbers will be
limited at each session to a maximum of 50. A light lunch
will be provided.

to attending a briefing day you will be requested to familiarise
yourself with appropriate documentation available from here.

Recognition
of Prior Learning (RPL) - this briefing is for providers
that are registered with FETAC and who have already made
an expression of interest regarding RPL for awards to FETAC.
Places
are limited to one per provider at this briefing. Those
attending should also review

RPL Policy and Guidelines
prior to
attending the briefing.

inform providers on FETAC assessment requirements in
relation to planning and managing the assessment and
authentication processes.

need information on the use of the awards to develop programmes
and assess learners in accordance with national standards. This
is not an open briefing - eligible providers have been notified
